Embaixada da Juventude (EJ) is a non-profit youth organization that initiates and implements local projects of positive social impact, particularly in the field of social inclusion and whereas young people have a central role. Was created in 2015, following a research project aimed at surveying the needs/social diagnosis of young people in the territory of Paredes, since then the EJ has been dedicated to the promotion of youth, currently counting on three major areas of activity: social entrepreneurship, project management and active citizenship. Which are developed by dynamizing activities in terms of the organization of events and socio-cultural initiatives; positioning itself as a point of contact and support for young people looking for international entrepreneurial opportunities; promoting the participation of young people in exchanges, training and volunteer projects in other countries; or supporting young people in local initiatives aimed at social inclusion, sustainability, lifelong learning, social entrepreneurship, active citizenship, rural development, gender equality, multiculturalism and arts.
